Married At First Sight UK stars Thomas Hartley hints that his relationship with Adrian Sanderson is over in scenes due to air on Tuesday night, after tearfully admitting that they are ‘not in love’.
The pair have overcome several hurdles throughout their marriage on the E4 series, however, after Thomas recently voiced his upset over their lack of intimacy and expressed his desire to leave the experiment, they’ve been headed in a downward trajectory.
While many fans have been trying to suss out which couples are still together, it seems unlikely that these two make it to the final as an item.
In a clip shared exclusively with Metro.co.uk, Thomas breaks down in tears over his loveless marriage with Adrian at the last dinner party.
‘I’m looking around the table and I’m seeing how happy everyone is and I just don’t feel that,’ he sobs.
‘This is not where we’re at. We’re not in love. I need to talk to Adrian.’
Before Thomas’s tearful admission, he is seen sitting with his husband and fellow couple Jenna and Zoe Clifton.
‘I try my best to understand people,’ Adrian tells the group. ‘I try my best to understand the way they come at things.’
Heaping praise on his partner, Thomas adds: ‘He’s kind, he’s compassionate, we’ve got every possible thing together now… it’s tough isn’t it?’
Speaking to the camera in private, Zoe and Jenna express their doubts over Thomas and Adrian’s relationship.
