Jill Scott has admitted her I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! win hasn’t sunk in yet and she’s still coming to terms with all the love and support.
The Lioness was crowned Queen of the Jungle during Sunday’s live final, beating Hollyoaks actor Owen Warner and former health secretary Matt Hancock to the top spot.
It was later revealed that Jill was the clear winner too, with ITV disclosing that she had earned an impressive 47% of the vote, with Owen receiving just under a third with 30% and Hancock just 21%.
Despite having had a few days back in civilisation, the former footballer is still trying to get her head around her victory and voiced her shock in a post on Instagram.
Sharing a series of photos from her time on the show, including some snaps of life outside camp, she wrote: ‘Thanks from the bottom of my heart for all the support whilst I was in the jungle!
‘I’m totally overwhelmed and appreciate every single message, vote and just overall kindness! I’m still completely in shock and I don’t think Queen of the Jungle will ever sink in!’
She added: ‘One thing I do know is I leave with so many great friends and that for me is the biggest win! Time to get home shower a few more times and catch up with loved ones THANKYOU.’
