Pamela Anderson has reflected on her love life in the pages of her new memoir, including her tumultuous romance with Tommy Lee.
The former couple dominated headlines in the 1990s with their whirlwind relationship, including the dramatic leaking of their sex tape.
The Baywatch actress, 55, and Motley Crue musician, 60, tied the knot in 1995 but called time on their marriage three years later – their time together inspired the recent TV series Pam & Tommy, starring Lily James and Sebastian Stan in the lead roles.
Looking back on their time together in her upcoming book, obtained by People Magazine, she said: ‘My relationship with Tommy may have been the only time I was ever truly in love.
’We had fun and our rule was no rules.’
Discussing the breakdown of their relationship, she reportedly wrote: ‘The divorce from Tommy was the hardest, lowest, most difficult point of my life.’
Despite being ‘crushed’ by the split, she insisted that they still ‘check in, every once in a while’ as they share children Brandon and Dylan together.
Pamela has since walked down the aisle with Kid Rock, Rick Salomon and Dan Hayhurst, but is currently enjoying her single status.
‘I live a more romantic life now that I’m alone than I did in relationships,’ she added. ‘l light my candles, have my music playing. I have my piano, I’m sure it would be lovely if someone else was in my life and wanted the same thing but I’ve just never met them. It’s usually about catering to them, and there has to be a balance.
‘I don’t need someone to bring me roses. I’ve just planted a hundred rose bushes. I can get them any time I want — and they’re my favorite roses.’
Pamela’s memoir is released on January 31, which coincides with the premiere date of her upcoming Netflix documentary, Pamela, A Love Story.
The one-off special is set to delve behind some of the most covered moments of her time in the spotlight – offering the star the chance to put her side of the story across.
