Richard Williams – the dad of Serena and Venus Williams – has reportedly been offered a whopping $500,000 (£416,790) to front his own reality show.
The father of the tennis champions, aka King Richard, has been flooded with calls from ‘multiple TV and radio stations’ according to his son Chavoita LeSane.
‘We’ve even been approached by a British TV network for a reality show focused on the work I do in producing films and partnering with charities, and my dad’s life after tennis,’LeSane said.
Richard was the inspiration behind the 2022 movie King Richard, which starred Hollywood actor Will Smith as the tennis patriarch.
The biopic follows his journey of bringing up his daughters from Compton, California and turning them into legendary tennis players.
Saniyya Sidney stars as Venus, with Demi Singleton as Serena, and Aunjanue Ellis as Richard’s wife, Brandi.
LeSane also told The US Sun that he believes his dad would be entertaining to watch on-screen.
I Am Legend stal won the Oscar last year for his performance, however his winning moment was overshadowed after he slapped Chris Rock onstage.
