Kanye West has revealed vile lyrics that include comparing himself to sex offenders and branding himself an ‘antisemite’ at a listening party for his new album.
He also made further mention of Taylor Swift, in a move sure to fire up her fans.
Vultures – the debut studio album by the rapper with singer Ty Dolla $ign – was supposed to drop on Friday, but still hasn’t appeared, in the latest of a string of delays.
However, Ye, 46, held a preview event in his home city of Chicago on Thursday night at the United Center, where a handful of songs were played from the record.
During the song Carnival, which features Rich the Kid and Playboy Carti, Kanye’s lyrics continued to prove to be as provocative and offensive as ever.
According to Forbes, the cart-topping artist rapped: ‘Now I’m Ye Kelly, b**ch / Now I’m Bill Cosby, b**ch / Now I’m Puff Daddy rich / That’s Me Too rich.’
Alongside mocking the ‘#MeToo movement’ that helped rid Hollywood of sexual predators including producer Harvey Weinstein, Kanye was referencing sex offenders R Kelly and Bill Cosby, the former of whom is serving 30 years in jail after being convicted on sex trafficking and racketeering charges.
Meanwhile Cosby was convicted of drugging and sexually assaulting basketball coach Andrea Constand in 2004, following which he was sentenced to three to 10 years in prison.
He was released on June 30, 2021, having only served three years of his sentence before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court later overturned the conviction.
His final namecheck, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, a.k.a Puff Daddy, is facing multiple sexual assault lawsuits, having initially been accused of rape and violent behaviour in legal documents filed by his ex-girlfriend, Cassie – real name Casandra Ventura – in November, but the claims were settled the next day, and he denied any wrongdoing.
Other allegations include that he drugged and date-raped a college student, later sharing a ‘revenge porn’ style video of the abuse, as well as ‘choking’ another woman ‘in a violent rage’ and a past attack on a teenager.
Combs has vehemently denied all claims of wrongdoing.
The controversy doesn’t stop there, however.
In one track, Kanye rapped: ‘And I’m still crazy, bipolar, antisemite / And I’m still the king.’
However, the live stream of the event was abruptly cut off following his remark, as seen in video obtained by PageSix, where the screen went black and silent.
It later resumed, however, and it wasn’t clear if the cut was deliberate – due to the rapper’s highly controversial history of antisemitic comments – or was merely a coincidence.
These began with him tweeting that he would ‘go death con 3 ON JEWISH PEOPLE’ in October 2022, before he saw his social media accounts restricted and deleted.
He later apologised for it last year, but has also previously praised Adolf Hitler, who was responsible for the Holocaust.
Ozzy Osbourne has also blasted Ye as an ‘antisemite’ after he allegedly used a sample from Black Sabbath song War Pigs at the event, despite not being given the go-ahead.
In a post fuming over the situation, the UK rocker accused Kanye of having ’caused untold heartache to many’ and added: ‘I want no association with this man!’
Kanye, who has also upset fans by posting ‘humiliating’ photos of his wife Bianca Censori, also couldn’t resist mentioning Taylor Swift once more, later rapping: ‘I mean since Taylor Swift, since I had a Rollie on the wrist / I’m the new Jesus, b**ch.’
Their drama began back in 2009, when he interrupted her receiving an MTV Video Music Award to announce that Beyoncé, who had just lost in the category, had ‘one of the best videos of all time’.

He then mentioned her in 2016 song Famous with the line, ‘I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that b**ch famous’, which Swift slammed as ‘misogynistic’ in a statement, denying Kanye’s claim he’d had her approval.
The dad of four also put on a listening party in UBS Arena in Elmont, New York, on Friday night after taking to Instagram to complain that he was having trouble booking venues.
In a now-deleted video from Tuesday, seen by PageSix, he claimed that ‘when I call, people say there are no avails for me and you know why that is’, hinting at having been denied access due to his offensive comments.
