Emmerdale lines up more heartbreak for the residents of the eponymous village in what will prove to be an emotional week, as confirmed in my new pictures.
The ITV soap sees a number of big developments next week, with the biggest being that Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) is set to discover that she’s pregnant.
Determined to hide such a thing from abusive Tom King (James Chase), the events planner is later forced to reveal all after her vicious husband lashes out at her, raising his hand.
Tom is stunned to silence upon finding out the news before he cries tears of joy at the thought of becoming a dad. Belle is also crying, but her tears are most certainly not joyous, having once again seen what kind of person Tom truly is.
Despite Belle’s wishes to keep the pregnancy a secret, Tom later spills the beans to Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry) – and things are complicated further when he locks Belle in at Dale Head. But as she falls asleep on the sofa, a tea towel catches fire.
Will Belle be okay?
Sorry, this video isn't available any more.
More Trending
Elsewhere in the village, Ruby Fox-Miligan (Beth Cordingly) receives an update from Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker) about Charles Anderson’s (Kevin Mathurin) wellbeing and, feeling guilty, she resolves to help.
Charles finds her in the church and the two have a heart-to-heart, with Ruby reaching for his hand and offering him comfort.
Determined to have a relationship with son Nicky Miligan (Lewis Cope) – who refuses to forgive her for knocking down Ethan (Emile John) – Ruby vows to hand herself in and do the right thing.
But things take quite a turn, with Charles later receiving word from the coroner on Ethan’s cause of death. Is Ruby’s secret out?
Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson) and Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham), meanwhile, share a drink together and, as they bond, they proceed to kiss!
It’s all going on next week!
Emmerdale airs these scenes between Monday, June 10 and Friday, June 14 at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
