Neighbours has given fans their first look of Selling Sunset favourite Chrishell Stause’s forthcoming guest stint.
It was announced earlier this year that the Netflix reality star would be swapping the Hollywood hills for Ramsay Street.
The actress and real estate agent is set to take on the role of businesswoman Yasmine Shields in the Australian soap.
Pictures taken from Chrishell’s first episodes reveal that Yasmine will share scenes with Holly Hoyland (Lucinda Armstrong Hall), who has been struggling to cope in recent weeks following her ordeal with Heath Royce (Ethan Panizza) in the outback.
Another snap sees her sharing a laugh with local Nicolette Stone (Hannah Monson) in Harold’s.
She also looks to catch the eye of Lassiters boss Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis).
But just what has brought Yasmine to Erinsborough?
Chrishell is no stranger to the world of soap, having starred as Amanda Dillon in All My Children between 2005 and 2011, before taking on the role of Jordan Ridgeway in Days of Our Lives.
Since 2020, she has been featured in the Netflix reality series Selling Sunset, which follows the real estate agents of the Oppenheim Group in Los Angeles.
Speaking of her new soap role, Chrishell said: ‘Coming from the world of soaps in the US, it’s back to my first love in the entertainment industry.
‘They pitched me an idea for a character, and I was excited to figure out a way to make it happen.’
Upon her casting, Neighbours boss Jason Herbison said: ‘We are thrilled to welcome Chrishell to the cast of Neighbours. We created a character especially for her and we can’t wait for her to bring the storyline alive.
