Coronation Street has dropped a huge bombshell and it could spell disaster for show favourite Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown).
Dee-Dee was left horrified earlier this year when she discovered that fiance Joel Deering (Calum Lill) had been grooming and abusing young women, and later found herself in the frame for his murder.
Though Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton) was the one to deliver the fatal blow, she wasn’t the only person to confront Joel that night.
Prior to his death, Dee-Dee tracked him down and confronted him when she realised he was trying to flee town.
The pair soon erupted into a blazing row, where Dee-Dee berated Joel for what he’d done.
However, he cruelly hit back at her, questioning her morals as he revealed that he and Dee-Dee had previously slept together, despite her strong beliefs of abstaining from sex until after marriage.
