Now the weather is getting colder, many of us have retreated indoors to settle into our cosy clothes for lengthy Netflix binge-watches.
And to celebrate the festive season approaching, there are plenty of new titles to choose from as well as long-standing classics on the streaming service to help shut out the dreary days and long nights.
As Halloween becomes a distant memory, Christmas vibes reign supreme and our viewing habits reflect that with one festive flick being watched more than 18 million times in the last week.
But we haven’t fully left horror behind, with two terrifying titles rounding out the top three of this week’s most-watched list.

Harold and the Purple Crayon
Harold and the Purple Crayon is a 2024 fantasy comedy film based on the 1955 children’s book by Crockett Johnson.
It follows Harold, a young boy, who lives inside a book. With the help of his trusty magic purple crayon, he can make anything he draws come to life.
So, when Harold grows up, he decides to draw himself into the physical world where he must learn how to navigate real life – some of which is not on his terms.

The Angry Birds Movie 2
The second Angry Birds movie sees the Bird and Piggy Islands under threat, after Zeta, the leader of Eagle Island, attempts to invade them.
Red and Leonard must join forces to stop Zeta before it’s too late. Will the flightless birds, along with the help of their loyal team, achieve their mission and save the day?

Just Go With It
Millennials everywhere rejoiced when this iconic 2011 Jennifer Aniston–Adam Sandler rom-com was recently added to Netflix.
Just Go With It sees Sandler stars as successful plastic surgeon, Dr Danny Maccabee, who uses his old wedding ring to attract women by pretending to be in an unhappy marriage.
But when Danny meets school teacher Palmer, he wants to take things further than usual.
He convinces his assistant, Katherine, to pretend to be his ex-wife in a bid to score the woman – he thinks – he wants to settle down with. But has the right person been there all along?

This animated comedy film follows Max, a pet dog, who becomes jealous when his owner Katie brings home another dog called Duke.

Alita: Battle Angel
Ready for a cyberpunk action film? Alita: Battle Angel is based on Yukito Kishiro’s manga series Gunnm, and centres around Alita, a battle cyborg with the soul of a teenager.
When she is revived by a doctor named Ido 300 years after Earth was devastated by a catastrophic war, Alita is free to navigate her new life in an unknown world.
Will she be able to pick back up where she left off and find her true identity?

Sing
Hit animated film Sing follows Buster Moon, a koala who owns a struggling theatre.
While trying to find ways to save his business, he decides to launch a singing competition to encourage people back into the arts.
But when his elderly assistant, iguana Miss Crawly accidentally sets the prize money as $100,000 instead of $1,000, Buster Moon must also find a way to come up with the money… fast!

Don’t Move
