Mince pies, turkey with all the trimmings, and a glass of Bailey’s are all marvellous at Christmas, but the holiday season really wouldn’t be complete without our favourite chocolate.
A box of Quality Street, some luxury from Lindt, and a whole host of Cadbury treats is what we’d love to see under the tree.
However, fans of the latter have been left claiming ‘Christmas is ruined’ after discovering that two of their favourite festive products aren’t making a comeback this year.
Brits took to social media to demand answers from Cadbury, asking where they could find the classic Dairy Milk Mousse Snowman, as well as the ‘gorgeous’ Dairy Milk Winter Orange Crisp bars, as they hadn’t spotted any in supermarkets yet.
Shoppers said they were ‘agitated’ by the lack of their festive favourites, and @rmckaysmith even went as far as to say they ‘would absolutely sell [their] kidney for a Dairy Milk Snowman’.
Unfortunately for them, Cadbury confirmed that changes had been made to the brand’s Christmas line-up this year, and as such, these discontinued products wouldn’t be returning to shops anytime soon.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), they explained: ‘We’re always adapting our Christmas range to make sure everyone can find products they enjoy, reflecting changing consumer taste buds, which means we’ve made a few changes. Please check out our website for the full list and we hope you find something you enjoy.’
In response, Amy Stockley proclaimed that ‘Christmas is ruined’, while Nancy @everystepfit begged Cadbury to bring back the Orange Crisp chocolate bar, saying she ‘missed it’ and hoped it would make a return in 2025.
Cadbury seemed to tease that it wasn’t gone for good, as they told Nancy: ‘We understand some will miss the Dairy Milk Orange Crisp Bar. Who knows, we might see them again next year.’
This comes after Cadbury previously revealed that Festive Friends had been axed from its winter range this year.
The classic biscuits were festive shaped, with Dairy Milk chocolate on one side, and had been notably absent from supermarkets in the run up to December 2024.
Cadbury confirmed they weren’t coming back right now, saying: ‘Our Cadbury Festive Friends aren’t returning this year, but don’t worry, we have our new Cadbury Festive Animals for you to try. They are the same Animal biscuits you know and love, but with new festive shapes! We enjoy them best dunked in a hot chocolate.’
Cadbury chocolate Animals are biscuits with animal shapes marked on them, as opposed to the Festive Friends which were shaped like snowmen and Santa, etc.
What’s in Cadbury’s Christmas chocolate range for 2024?
The chocolate giant might have upset fans with these changes, but the company did recently bring back four iconic products for Christmas.

This includes the return of Cadbury Chocolate Coins, Cadbury Mini Snowballs, the Christmas Puds, and Dairy Milk Winter Mint Crisp bars in Asda.
The chocolate coins are self-explanatory, but for those who may not be familiar with the other sweets, the Snowballs are smooth Dairy Milk chocolate in a crispy white dusted icing sugar shell.
The Puds meanwhile, have a truffle centre, with hazelnut and crunchy puffed rice pieces, while the Winter Mint Crisp bar is mint-flavoured milk chocolate with honeycombed granules.
