Ellen DeGeneres has cleared up rumours after reportedly having a tough time after moving to the UK.
The talk show host, 66, and her wife Portia de Rossi, moved across the pond into a house they purchased in The Cotswolds after the recent US election.
It was reported that the home flooded during Storm Bert, which saw days of torrential rain and 80mph winds.
However, in a post from Ellen, she confirmed her 43-acre property was not one of the casualties of the storm as the River Thames broke its banks.
In the post on social media, the star reflected on her 20-year relationship with her wife and their excitement about their ‘first snowy Christmas’ in the UK.
But at the end of the post she confirmed to her followers: ‘P.S. for those of you concerned, our UK farmhouse did NOT flood.’
A local resident told Mail Online: ‘The flood waters are rising by the hour. This is the worst I have seen it in years.’
Ellen and Portia moved to the six-bedroom farmhouse with a gym and games room after wanting to ‘get the hell out’ of the US following Trump’s election victory.
The former Ellen Show host was a vocal supporter of Democratic candidate Kamala Harris, donating money to her campaign.
During the election, she wrote on her Instagram page: ‘There’s nothing more powerful than a woman whose time has come!! I can’t wait for @KamalaHarris to be our next president.’
Following Kamala’s loss, a source told TMZ of Ellen and Portia’s plans to move from the US, saying they had become ‘very disillusioned’ with the country.
Ellen is not the only US star to make the move, with Barbie actor America Ferrara also moving to the UK with her husband Ryan Piers Williams and their son Sebastian.
‘America is sick that Donald Trump is President again,’ an insider told Daily Mail. ‘She is devastated that Kamala lost. She thought the country she lived in was better than that.’

‘She is going to continue to have a presence in the US for work purposes and to fight for Latinas and women, but she will be overseas for family and to benefit her kids’ education.
The source explained that the actor wants her children to have ‘the best opportunities’ but isn’t ‘abandoning the US.
‘She’s not abandoning the US, she is prioritizing her life and focusing on the importance for her kids,’ the source concluded.
Metro has approached Ellen’s reps for comment.
