EastEnders lines up a dramatic week, as confirmed in my new spoiler pictures, as Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) makes a very final choice following Elaine Peacock’s (Harriet Thorpe) ultimatum.
Elaine, as viewers know, was at her wits end with Linda’s drinking and thus ordered her daughter to either go to rehab immediately or leave the Vic – and her loved ones – never to return.
Next week will see the aftermath of such an ultimatum, with an intoxicated Linda ultimately choosing the booze, as she storms out of the pub and embarks on a dangerous night of alcohol abuse.
Fans have speculated that the storyline, and particularly this episode, could spark the end of Linda’s journey in the show after filming pictures hinted at a tragic fate for the character.
But is everything as it seems?
Elsewhere, Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa) is rushed to the hospital after coming to believe that her drug addiction could have harmed her unborn the baby.
Thankfully, the baby is fine but, as the festive season approaches, will Lauren’s secret come to light?

Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins), who has been obtaining the drugs for her, will certainly have a lot to say if so!
Martin Fowler (James Bye), meanwhile, agrees to be Roman’s organ donor, but Lily Slater (Lilia Turner) is terrified that he won’t survive the surgery as she voices her concerns.
It’s going to be quite a week in the Square!
