A man has been arrested after a toddler was killed and four other people were taken to hospital after a hit-and-run in West Midlands.
The two-year-old boy died after the crash on Saturday night on Dartmouth Road in Smethwick shortly before 11pm.
An urgent hunt for the driver of a grey Porsche Cayenne was underway over the weekend after it smashed into the other car with devastating consequences.
The Porsche was confirmed to have been reported stolen earlier this month.
It hit a Toyota Auris which was carrying the boy, who has not yet been named, and four other adults.
Two of them, a 29-year-old woman and 30-year-old man, are still in hospital in a serious condition, while the other two adults were described as being stable.
A 30-year-old man has now been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

He was arrested on Monday evening after police ‘acted on received information’ and he is still in custody for questioning.
The Porsche is thought to have been travelling from the island on Kenrick Way before it hit the Toyota.
A teddy has been left at the scene of the crash in tribute to the young child who died.
Detectives have spoken to witnesses while CCTV is being collected in and around the area, but West Midlands Police are still appealing for anyone with information or dashcam footage to get in touch.
