From hot honey to pistachio, there are a few flavours people just haven’t been able to get enough of lately.
The latter is having a big moment, thanks in part to the viral Dubai chocolate bar that’s been flooding social media feeds for months because of FIX Dessert Chocolatier and influencer Maria Vehera.
Filled with pistachio cream and Kadayif pastry, the Dubai chocolate bar was hailed a ‘sensation’ and ‘fire’ on TikTok after Maria filmed a video of herself trying FIX’s product.
And it seems the nutty craze isn’t about to die down any time soon, as Lindt has just announced it’s launching its own take on the sweet treat.
When will the Lindt Dubai chocolate bar be released?
The master chocolatier is bringing the famous chocolate bar to the UK from December 18, in select stores.
Said to be ‘luxurious’, the chocolate is made with milk chocolate and pistachio (45%), topped with crunchy Kadayif pastry.
The 145g bar will cost £10 and those keen to get their hands on one can do so from Lindt locations in Bicester Village, Leeds Trinity, McArthurGlen (Cheshire Oaks) and Bluewater, Dartford.
Stefan Bruderer, Master Chocolatier at Lindt & Sprüngli said: ‘We’re always tapped into consumer trends and after we saw how well the Dubai chocolate craze went down on social media, we knew we had to get involved and put our very own twist on it.’
Over on social media, chocolate fans have been going wild for the new bar ahead of its launch, hailing it ‘a dream’ and claiming it ‘looks delicious’ and was sure to become their ‘new favourite’. Others simply said ‘can’t wait’, and ‘YUM’.
This comes after Lindt recently announced a brand new megastore in London’s West End, which could give M&M World a run for its money.
In a statement, Lindt & Sprüngli D2C and e-commerce director for UK and Ireland, Faythe King, said: ‘We are thrilled to bring the exquisite taste of Lindt Chocolate to the heart of London, offering a unique, enchanting experience for chocolate lovers—something truly unique to the UK.’
He continued to say it marks a ‘significant milestone’ for the company, which has been in operation for 179 years, and they’re excited to expand their presence in ‘one of the world’s most dynamic and vibrant cities.’
While a confirmed opening date for the store has yet to be revealed, the location has been confirmed as the former 6000 sq ft Gap store under Piccadilly Circus lights – a great spot considering it is one of Europe’s busiest retail locations.
The details of this ‘unique’ store are being kept tightly under wraps, but it’s likely to be impressive, as their Zurich HQ has multiple interactive activities, including a chocolate museum that shares the history of chocolate, a ‘make your own’ chocolate course, and a ginormous chocolate fountain.
Lindt also caused a stir over the festive season due to its giant advent calendar, which shoppers spotted being sold in Costco for £180.

Some thought the price was ‘a scam’ after discovering that the contents inside add up to roughly £90, when purchased individually from a supermarket like Tesco.
The food blogger behind UK Newest Foods tried the calendar, and told Metro it was one of the ‘best and worst’ calendars they’d tried for Christmas 2024.
They told Metro: ‘It’s the best because it’s AMAZING, look at it, it’s 5 foot tall!!! But it’s the worst as it’s terrible value for money, which is such a shame.
‘It cost £180 but I added the cost of the individual products up on the Tesco website as a rough guide, and the total came to £90.’
