Chelsea are eyeing up a move for Arsenal and Manchester United target Randal Kolo Muani in the January transfer window, according to reports.
Kolo Muani joined Paris Saint-Germain from Eintracht Frankfurt for €75m (£64.2m) plus €15m (£12.2m) in add-ons last year but has struggled to secure a regular role in Luis Enrique’s side this season.
The French striker has started just two games in all competitions so far this campaign and was not named in the matchday squad for PSG’s last three games.
When asked about Kolo Muani’s situation at PSG earlier this month, Enrique said: ‘I could speak about it but I won’t because my decisions say it all, even if as I have said, all of my decisions can be changed.’
With the January transfer window opening this week, Kolo Muani is expected to laeve the club on loan to secure himself some first-team football for the rest of the season.
And according to the French outlet Foot Mercato, Chelsea are expected to make contact with PSG in the coming days to explore a deal for the 26-year-old.
The report adds that Kolo Muani’s versatility and ability to play across the front line appeals to the west London club as they look to strengthen in January.
Enzo Maresca’s side have, thus far, avoided severe injuries to key players in attacking positions but are now without Mykhailo Mudryk indefinitely after the winger was provisionally suspended following a failed drugs test.
Should a move for Kolo Muani materialise, Chelsea may look to sell fellow attacker Christopher Nkunku who is said to have attracted interest from Barcelona and has grown unhappy with his lack of Premier League minutes.

Any move for Kolo Muani, however, will face stiff competition from a host of top European clubs.
Arsenal have reportedly been offered the opportunity to sign the PSG forward on loan as they look to sign reinforcements following the long-term injury suffered by Bukayo Saka.
And United are also keeping tabs on Kolo Muani – as well as his teammate Nuno Mendes – as Ruben Amorim prepares for his first transfer window as the incumbent Red Devils boss.
AS Monaco, RB Leipzig, Juventus, Galatasaray and AC Milan are also said to be interested in signing Kolo Muani.
