A man who was stabbed to death in front of his girlfriend in north west London has been named.
Recorda Davey-Ann Clarke, 35, known as Ricardo to friends and family, was with his girlfriend on Willesden High Road in north west London in the early hours of Saturday when a knife was plunged into him following a brief argument, according to locals.
Elyas Moussa, 29 of no fixed abode, has been charged with murder.
He appeared in custody at Willesden Magistrates’ Court this morning in a grey prison issue tracksuit for the five-minute hearing.
He spoke only to confirm his name and date of birth while giving his address as no fixed abode from the dock.
He was remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey on Thursday.
District Judge Mark Jabbitt told him: ‘I’m sending you to the Central Criminal Court (Old Bailey) this Thursday.’
Ricardo died on the way to hospital after paramedics battled to save him at the crime scene in Linacre Road.
Forensics officers have been scouring for evidence while detectives are trawling CCTV from around the area.
A mother of three who lives on Linacre Road told Metro: ‘I was woken up by shouting and screaming. I looked out and blue lights from ambulances and police were flooding the street. Someone shouted ‘he’s been stabbed’. There was a woman there looking very upset.’

Another said: ‘There was an argument then shouting. The guy’s girlfriend was there.’
A police statement said: ‘At approximately 04.16am on Saturday 28 December police were called to reports of a stabbing in Linacre Road.
‘Officers and London Ambulance and Air Ambulance paramedics attends the scene.
