Multiple insiders have claimed Call Of Duty will have a key presence at the Xbox Showcase in June, with older entries coming to Xbox Game Pass.
Over the past week, rumours have accelerated around what will appear at the expected Xbox Showcase this summer.
Multiple reliable sources have already claimed that Gears of War 6 is a lock for the showcase but now there are even more rumours about what the event will unveil.
Now it seems the next Call Of Duty, believed to be titled Black Ops Gulf War, will be featured at the show, which is apparently scheduled to take place on Sunday, June 9.
According to a report on The Verge, the show will feature a new Gears Of War, along with release dates for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, Avowed, Indiana Jones And The Great Circle, and Call Of Duty: Black Ops Gulf War – all of which are set to be released later this year.

According to the report, Black Ops Gulf War will be revealed in a more ‘traditional fashion’ and outside of Warzone, unlike recent entries. So even if it is at the Xbox Showcase that won’t necessarily be its debut.
It’s also claimed Xbox is ‘gearing up’ for an announcement in regards to bringing more Activision Blizzard games to Xbox Game Pass, with past Call Of Duty titles likely to be amongst them.
Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer has previously stated that Call Of Duty will eventually make its way to the subscription service but he’s never said when. Earlier this year, the first Activision Blizzard game was added to Xbox Game Pass, in Diablo 4.
According to a leaked email from Microsoft exec Sarah Bond this quickly made Xbox the ‘number one platform for Diablo 4 players,

A third entry in the zombie survival series was announced in 2020, but we’ve seen nothing from it since. This will also be the first State Of Decay title since Microsoft acquired its creators, Undead Labs, in 2018.
