An eight-month-old baby girl is in serious condition after being attacked by an XL Bully-type dog at a property on Siskin Close. Emergency services were called to the scene just after 2:30 pm on Wednesday following reports that the infant had been bitten. The baby was airlifted to a hospital in London, where she is receiving medical care. Dog Seized and Destroyed Police have confirmed that the dog, identified as a registered XL Bully breed, was seized following the attack and later destroyed. Arrests Made An 18-year-old man and a 76-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of being in charge of a dog dangerously out of control. They remain in custody as investigations continue. Police Statement A Kent Police spokesperson said: "Officers will remain in the area while enquiries are carried out and to provide reassurance to the local community." The incident has sent shockwaves through the neighborhood, with residents expressing concern over the safety of such dogs. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward. Further updates on the baby???s condition and the investigation are expected in the coming days.
