Liam Payne

Liam James Payne joined One Direction after auditioning on ITV talent show The X Factor aged just 16. The group would become one of the best-selling boybands of all time until their hiatus in 2015. Liam went on to launch a solo career with debut single Strip That Down in 2017. In October 2024, the singer tragically died after falling from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina, aged just 31. He is survived by his son, Bear Grey, who he had in 2017 following a relationship with Girls Aloud star Cheryl.
