Events › Speed Friending

Meet your neighbors and make new friends at our Speed Friending event*, hosted by the Joyce Ellington Branch Library. In this interactive event, participants will meet their neighbors and hopefully make some new friends!

Participants will engage in a series of short, timed conversations with others, allowing everyone the chance to share a bit about themselves and discover common interests. Each round will last approximately 5 minutes, giving you just enough time to make a connection before moving on to your next conversational partner.

Whether you're new to the area or a long-time resident, this event is perfect for anyone looking to build friendships and strengthen community ties.
