Bosses at Nuneaton's biggest leisure centre have said two of its key features have had to be closed. The Pingles Leisure Centre has said that due to 'urgent essential maintenance' its leisure pool and gym are closed.

They will remain closed 'until further notice', a message has said. It adds that all impacted customers will be contacted.

In the meantime, Everyone Active, which runs the leisure centre on behalf of Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council, has said that the main pool, main pool lessons and group exercise classes are still open.
