HL7 EHR-S FM R2 Computable Artifacts for R2.0.1 Errata
DESCRIPTION
The Electronic Health Record System Function Model Release 2.0.1 builds on Release 2 of the model. R2 offered a more comprehensive set of functions and criteria compared to R1.1. The work on R2 is informed by industry advances/directions, regulatory changes, learning from work from functional profiles, and participation by the international community. The work is also balloted through six standards organizations including: ISO, CEN, IHTSDO, CDISC, GS1 and HL7. R2.0.1 was created to correct some errors and typo's. There are no substantive changes in R2.0.1.
Based on the EHR-S FM, Functional Profiles can be created with support of the Profile Designer Tool. The tool is a docker command line tool to be used in conjunction with spreadsheets. In the creation process, the functions and criteria of the EHR-S FM are analyzed for its applicability for the Functional Profile. A representation of the EHR-S FM in Enterprise Architect or in a csv file can be used for this analysis.
