Yesterday, our Geislingen campus came alive with the vibrant energy of our summer festival under the theme "Celebrating Diversity Together." The event was a true celebration of our shared spirit, featuring a rich array of culinary delights from around the world, lively music and spirited team competitions. The day also included activities that reinforced our sense of community within the Groupe SEB family and highlighted the importance of diversity. Everyone had the opportunity to create their own office plant – a living symbol of our shared journey of growth, reflecting each individual's unique contribution. Additionally, our "Tree of Community" adorned with heartfelt wishes and messages from all employees for a shared future, stood out as a central feature. This tree will be planted prominently on our campus, symbolizing our growing unity and mutual support. Our achievements are rooted in a strong collective that empowers us to reach common goals and overcome challenges together. Diversity isn't just about adding different perspectives; it sparks innovative thinking and enhances teamwork. For us, diversity and community are not just promises but essential pillars of our corporate culture at Groupe SEB, driving creativity, innovation, and a positive work environment. This June, we are placing special emphasis on these core values, diving even deeper into what makes our community thrive. #community #growth #teamwork #diversity

Time to head home after two very inspiring days in the Linneaus University campus in Växjö. Topics like: - What is the key for building and implementing a successful corporate culture? - How do you build a culture that reaches and become the spirit of the entire organisation? Especially in a large enterprise, that is challenging. But as some examples show, even those that appears as generally popular corporate cultures can be quickly torn down if the environment drastically changes, and the impact can be devastating. - How to make the employees feel an identity with the company and its values and how to treat the balance of the identity of the self and the identity of the team? …are some examples of what was covered over these two days. Good thing the small town of Växjö offers a fantastic environment for reflection inbetween the classes!

Every Face Has a Story, and It's Worth Listening To... When I started my studies last year in Germany at Offenburg University of Applied Sciences, I walked into a classroom that was much more than just a mix of people—it was a blend of experiences, backgrounds, and stories. There were 15 of us, from 6 different nationalities, each bringing years of work experience from their home countries or even from different parts of the world. Some had worked in finance, others in tech, marketing, or engineering. But despite our varied professional paths, we all had one thing in common: a reason to move to a new country, a fresh start in a new chapter of life. What I found fascinating was that every single person had a story that led them here, and each story was different. Some came for better opportunities, others for personal growth, and some simply for a change of scenery. We were all navigating the challenges of living abroad, but in our own unique ways. Some missed their families, some struggled with the language, and some were adjusting to new careers. And yet, what united us was that shared experience of stepping into the unknown, trusting that this move would shape us for the better. This same sense of diversity and shared experience is what I’ve found in my workplace too. At Henkel, I have the privilege of working alongside people from different nationalities, each with their own perspective shaped by their unique journeys. It’s incredible how much you can learn from people when you take the time to listen—not just to what they say, but to the stories behind their words. Everyone carries their own challenges, experiences, and dreams. When we take the time to embrace those differences, we all grow together. In both my studies and my work, I’ve learned that success isn’t just about what you bring to the table—it’s about how you connect with others, how you learn from their stories, and how you contribute to a shared vision. #EmbraceDiversity #SharedExperiences #PersonalGrowth #Henkel #BlackForestBusinessSchool

This month we are celebrating heritage and embracing uniqueness ⭐️🇿🇦 Here are some inspiring words from our CEO, Eben Louw! "As we move into September, the month in which we celebrate heritage, I often find myself reflecting on what makes each of us unique. What sets us apart in this complex and challenging world, where we sometimes feel as though we’re just drifting through, simply surviving? For me, it's about recognising my talents, skills, strengths, and weaknesses. It’s about understanding my "why"—my purpose—and being confident enough to express it. This doesn’t mean I have all the answers. Far from it. In fact, when I talk about my talents, I often encounter resistance. But that’s precisely the point: we are all different, all unique, and I choose to celebrate that uniqueness—whether others appreciate it or not. At Mango5, we want you to embrace who you are—your heritage, your contributions, your talents, and your potential for growth! Your uniqueness is vital to the growth of our teams and our company as a BPO! As German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche once said, “He who has a why can endure any how.” Knowing your "why" is crucial to achieving the goals that excite you and building a life that you enjoy, rather than just surviving. When you understand your "why," you gain the courage to take risks, stay motivated during tough times, and move your life in a new, more rewarding direction. In the end, our uniqueness is shaped by many things—our rich heritage and culture, our upbringing, family experiences, everyday life, preferences, talents, abilities, and core values, along with the experiences and joy we find along the way. We love that you are unique! That’s what makes Mango5 unique, but one! Enjoy Heritage Month by not only celebrating your heritage but also celebrating what makes you, you!" 💙💛❤️ #WordOfTheMonth #Mango5 #September #HeritageMonth #UniqueButOne

Day 2 at Internship Experience UK 2024 Keeps Impressing!🎉✅ Today's second session was led by Marie Fukuura, Commercial Controller, Off-Trade, Premium Retail at Budweiser Brewing Group UK&I. Her talk was incredibly insightful. Marie presented a straightforward strategy: 1. Lead & Grow the Category 2. Digitize & Monetize the Ecosystem 3. Optimize the Business Despite challenges like lockdowns, shortages, instability, and inflation, beer remains a beloved and affordable product across all demographics, thanks to one of the world's largest B2B platforms. Budweiser's commitment spans safety, inclusivity, and sustainability. In-depth research shapes their portfolio priorities: expanding World Lager while rationalizing Standard Lager, highlighting the significance of a winning portfolio in the dynamic brewing industry. Aileen Nathan, Senior Sales Director at Mondelēz International, followed with a product masterclass on storytelling: Shell eggs make up 53% of total Easter sales—243 million RSV—purchased by half of UK households. Emphasizing sustainable ingredients, social impact, climate action, and eco-friendly packaging, consumer research, and collaboration led to innovative packaging: a chocolate shell egg for mini eggs, eliminating 28 million plastic pieces and 400 tonnes of cardboard. Improved palletization fit 40% more consumer units per pallet, cutting over 25,000 pallets processed. These innovations, returning to a proven format, resonated deeply with consumers who loved it! In addition to the informative sessions, we had valuable networking opportunities with professionals from PwC, AlphaSights, British Airways, Budweiser, ICAEW, and Nestlé. Engaging face-to-face allowed me to ask insightful questions, providing a deeper understanding of various industries and enhancing my experience. The conversations were incredibly helpful, offering practical advice and unique perspectives that will be invaluable as I move forward in my career. To cap off the day, we were introduced to a work sample exercise that provided a hands-on experience of the tasks and challenges faced in these industries. This practical component was enlightening, allowing us to apply the insights and strategies discussed throughout the sessions. The combination of theoretical knowledge and practical application made for a comprehensive and rewarding learning experience.🚀 #BrightNetwork #Budweiser #IEUK2024 #MondelēzInternational #ICAEW #Nestlé #PwC #BritishAirways #AlphaSights

Growth Booster: From Brandstorm to Life @L'Oréal🌟 Yesterday, I attended the "Growth Booster: From Brandstorm to Life @ L'Oréal" webinar by L'Oréal Ignite. Hearing from Roderic Wong, Cinless Tsang, and Rosaline Chan—2021 Brandstorm Hong Kong finalists and now 2023 Management Trainees—was truly inspiring. Their journeys showcased how the L’Oréal Brandstorm experience serves as an incredible launchpad for a career at L'Oréal. For those unfamiliar, L’Oréal Brandstorm is a global innovation competition where participants can unleash their potential, gain exclusive industry insights, and kickstart their careers at L’Oréal. Here are my top 3 takeaways: 😍 A Career-Launching Experience: The speakers shared how participating in Brandstorm honed their critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills. Beyond the competition, the experience opened doors to internships and MT roles, demonstrating the powerful link between Brandstorm and real-world opportunities at L'Oréal. 👯♀️ Teamwork and Innovation: A standout lesson from their journey was the importance of collaborative innovation. Whether brainstorming creative solutions or refining ideas under tight deadlines, their success stemmed from leveraging diverse perspectives and staying adaptable. 💭 Growth Beyond Comfort Zones: Each speaker emphasized how Brandstorm pushed them out of their comfort zones—whether pitching ideas or learning new concepts under pressure. These challenges prepared them for the fast-paced, dynamic environment at L'Oréal. Again, thank you Roderic, Cinless, and Rosaline for sharing such inspiring stories. Your experiences have deepened my appreciation for Brandstorm and the limitless growth opportunities L'Oréal offers. 💡 By 1190 Jingting (Gloria) Lin #lorealIgnite #weareloreal #lorealforyouth #empowered #beautytech #futureofbeauty #careergrowth #upskilling Eunice Lam Jade Lui Alan Lau (He/Him) Vicky Lau

But wait, there’s more! Let’s sprinkle some magic into this narrative. Metrics That Matter: Culture Day Vibes: The campus comes alive with colors, dances, and our rich heritage. But my heart craves quiet reflection. 🌙 Ramadan Countdown: Anticipation builds. Fasting, prayer, and self-discovery await. ⏰ Quality Time: Amid the hustle, I steal moments for myself—reading, sipping chai, and watching sunsets. Culture Day, Ramadan—it’s all woven into life’s fabric. Sometimes, charm hides in simplicity. Like the aroma of freshly baked bread or the warmth of a shared smile. So, here’s my secret: I Celebrate Both: The lively and the calm. 🤝 The shared and the reflective. few weeks ago, my LinkedIn account collected digital dust. Fear whispered, “Don’t post.” But I did.
