Protective jockstraps or Compression shorts?
Jason has no doubt about it....
The former NFL star said he preferred the traditional protective equipment over newer compression shorts because it "made my butt look better"
"What happened to the jockstrap is that they invented compression shorts, and they're much more effective at keeping everything in place and better," Jason explained of the tight-fitting garment worn under football uniforms.
Travis Kelce recounted his own experience and talked about using the jockstrap to prevent chafing, mentioning that he should apply talcum powder every day.
Jason, meanwhile, revealed that he wasn't quick to ditch the jockstrap and wore it only on game day, even walking around the locker room with it. Jason joked that the jockstrap made his butt look better, to which Travis laughingly made a comment about his brother's appearance, who responded that he needed help because he didn't have a big butt.
Change was a process
In a conversation between the Kelce brothers, Travis joked about the advent of compression shorts, which Jason admitted were more effective for work. Travis recalled that jockstraps were originally used to hold up the cup, something that is no longer as common. Jason, for his part, explained that while the jockstrap also helped support the butt before the advent of compression shorts, those shorts have now made the use of the jockstrap unnecessary.
