Ronnie Wood's wife Sally Wood has opened up about his recent secret battle with small-cell cancer and revealed how the pair managed to stay upbeat.
The Rolling Stones bassist announced last month that he had been battling a rare and aggressive form of cancer during lockdown.
It was the second time the musician, 73, had battled cancer after he beat lung cancer in 2018 and once again he was given the all-clear.
And now wife Sally, 43, has described her husband as having "incredible strength and determination".
Speaking to Hello magazine, Sally said: "You have to be as positive as you can and believe that everything will be OK.
"Ronnie's an amazing person with incredible strength and determination. He reads his meditation books and we focused on his treatment, his sobriety and resting as much as possible."
She added that the couple couldn't afford to be negative or to dwell for too long and said that Ronnie has been very supportive of her work.
Sally has recently resumed work as co-producer on 1920s period drama Vindication Swim, which is a film about the first British woman to swim the English Channel.
She told how Ronnie is constantly giving her advice and listening to her plans. However, she joked that he'd never been to any filming yet as it starts too early for him.
She went on to reveal her own ambition to swim the Channel herself in the future.
Sally called herself a "water baby" and admitted that she will "give it a go" as she prefers to swim outdoors.
The pair marked the eight-year anniversary in December with Ronnie sharing an array of unseen snaps to his Instagram as he looked back at their best memories from over the years.

Ronnie previously told Hello that he wished he'd have met his wife earlier. "I can't think of another girl more suited to me."
Sally got married to Ronnie in the same wedding dress as her mum, which was created over 40 years ago and brought back to life by designer Tommy Hilfiger.
