Erling Haaland had just one thing to say as Manchester City finally ended their away-day hoodoo with a win over struggling Leicester City - as he admitted "s*** happens".
The Premier League champions got back to winning ways against Leicester on Sunday as they ended their five-match winless run - with Savinho and Haaland scoring. The Brazilian fired home his first goal for the club after latching onto a rebound, before Haaland wrapped up the three points with a towering header.
And the striker let slip when asked about City's crisis. Speaking to Sky Sports, he said: "I think it's important to look ahead and s*** happens. That's something. Things happen and we have to keep going, we have to stay positive and focus on the right things."
Haaland's moment on live TV came just moments after he had shoved City boss Pep Guardiola towards the away fans as they celebrated Sunday's win in the East Midlands. He jokingly pushed the Catalan towards the fans as they chanted his name.
Asked if he was relieved to finally find the back of the net - just his second in his last eight Premier League games - the Norwegian added: "Yeah, it's always a relief to score and that was an important goal to go 2-0 up.
"Leicester did a really good game and they've been playing really well under the new coach so we knew it was going to be difficult. Every game is difficult and it's about getting the game towards your, I don't know the word in English only in Norwegian so you can translate, favor [meaning favour]. Yeah, that's what you need to do."
Asked if City can use the result to add confidence, Haaland replied: "Yeah of course. And it's been a difficult time as I said. Now it's New Year so don't think too much about football because it's actually five or six days until the next game, maybe seven. I think it's the longest time in a pretty long period and now we can rest a little bit and go again on the fourth."

It was certainly a much-needed win for City, who had not won away from home in all competitions since October. The victory against Leicester also represented their first away clean sheet in the Premier League since the 2-0 win against Chelsea in August.
It leaves City fifth in the table and four points behind Chelsea, who take on Ipswich at Portman Road on Monday evening. City meanwhile take on West Ham in just under a week.
