Coleen Rooney has given fans a glimpse inside one of her family’s adorable Christmas traditions, just weeks after reuniting with her children following her I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! stint. Coleen, who shares sons Kai, 15, Klay, 11, Kit, eight, and Cass, six, with former England footballer Wayne Rooney, showed off her brood’s wholesome festive celebrations as they spent some quality time together.
In a sweet Instagram post, Coleen, 48, shared a series of snaps from throughout the festive period. In one particularly charming snap, the TV personality was joined by Wayne and their four sons as they posed together for a photo in their matching Christmas pyjamas.
In other snaps, the family could be seen enjoying a light trail as well as a meal in a restaurant. Captioning the photos, Coleen wrote: “Merry Christmas from mine to yours!! I hope it’s been full of love & laughter for you all. Remembering all the loved ones who can’t be with us. Lots of love.”
In response to the heartfelt posts, Coleen’s followers flocked to the comments section to gush over her family as they showed her lots of love and support. “The queen taking care of all her boys. I hope Wayne and them boys realise how amazing you are which I am pretty sure they will!. You and Wayne have made a unit of a family xx,” wrote one.
“Gorgeous family merry Christmas,” added another. “Merry Christmas to you all hope yous have had a lovely day x,” said a third.
Meanwhile, others commented on the family’s choice of Christmas pyjamas. “We got the same Jim jams all the best,” commented one. “We’ve got the same Jim jams as coleen,” wrote another.
It comes after Coleen enjoyed an emotional reunion with her family after finishing this year’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in second place. Sharing a video from her lavish £20m Cheshire pad earlier this month, the mum-of-four thanked her fans for all of their support.
“Hi everyone, hope you're ok. I'm back in the UK. I'm a bit jet lagged. The kids are in school and I just wanted to come on and say wow wow wow, I am so overwhelmed with the love, support, generosity and positivity that you've all shown while I was in the jungle and since I've come out,” she said.
She continued: “I can't thank you enough for that. I absolutely loved it,” adding, “Don't get me wrong, it was hard. It was really hard. But with your love and support and the love and support of my 11 campmates, love and support and friendship, you all got me through it and I am so grateful for that.”
