Coleen Rooney has been reunited with her husband Wayne after spending a month apart from one another while she spent time in Australia for her stint on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!, which saw her cinch the runner up spot. While the mum-of-four, 38, returned back to the UK following the show almost a week ago, her football manager husband was still in Plymouth managing his team, Plymouth Argyle.

However, Wayne is now having a break from managerial duties and has returned to their Cheshire home to spend some much-needed time with his wife of almost two decades. Wayne did not join Coleen's loved ones to greet her at the airport when she touched down from Oz last week, but was spotted back home in Cheshire today (Monday 16 December).

While Coleen had to wait longer to see her husband, she had an early reunion with her and Wayne's two youngest sons; Kit, eight, and Cass, six, who flew over to Australia to see her while she was in the jungle and following her exit. While the couple's elder sons; Kai, 15, and Klay, 11, were waiting at home.

Updating her fans with a video when she returned back to normality in the UK, Coleen admitted she was overwhelmed by the support following her time on the ITV show.

“Hi everyone, hope you're ok. I'm back in the UK. I'm a bit jet lagged. The kids are in school and I just wanted to come on and say wow wow wow, I am so overwhelmed with the love, support, generosity and positivity that you've all shown while I was in the jungle and since I've come out.”

Coleen then went on to thank fans for all their comments and messages and for those who voted for her to get all the way to the final. “I can’t thank you enough for that. I absolutely loved it,” the star gushed.

She continued: “Don't get me wrong, it was hard. It was really hard. But with your love and support and the love and support of my 11 campmates, love and support and friendship, you all got me through it and I am so grateful for that. What a year to be involved in I'm A Celeb, what a camp. We are friends for life. Our group chat that we have created has not stopped, we've all been on this morning saying how jetlagged we are and me and Alan have been on the school run. “Some of us our watching trials back and it's been a joy to be a part of and we are going to enjoy Christmas and I hope you all enjoy Christmas and then in the New Year we're going to get together and have a reunion,” she excitedly expressed.
