Fans have been left disappointed as Justin Timberlake has postponed some dates on his Forget Tomorrow World Tour due to ill health. The 43-year-old heartthrob made the announcement that he's feeling under the weather and needs a short break from touring.

His concerts in Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Ohio will now take place in February. Bouncing back from his recent personal troubles, Justin had already been wowing crowds internationally when bronchitis and laryngitis struck him down. Taking to Instagram, the star issued an apologetic update: "Hey guys - I haven't been feeling great the last few shows and turns out I have bronchitis and laryngitis. I'm so sorry to say I do need to reschedule the next few shows from 10/23 through 11/2. New dates listed above."

He signed off with a grateful nod to his fans: "Thank you for understanding - I'll make it up to you." The NHS describes bronchitis as the "inflammation of the airways in the lungs", usually caused by an infection. Symptoms can include a cough, chest discomfort, breathlessness and a high temperature, reports the Mirror US.

The good news is that bronchitis "usually clears up without treatment" within a few weeks. Laryngitis, on the other hand, is when your voice box or vocal cords in the throat become irritated or swollen. Symptoms can range from a hoarse voice to losing your voice entirely, but like bronchitis, it typically "usually goes away on its own" after some time. Justin kicked off his Forget Tomorrow World Tour back in April with a bang in Canada.

Justin was arrested in June, facing allegations of driving under the influence

His tour schedule is packed with stops all over the world, from Brazil and Norway to England and Northern Ireland, wrapping up in July next year. However, the tour has had its ups and downs. Notably, Justin was arrested in Sag Harbor, New York, in June, facing allegations of driving under the influence (DUI). To add to his woes, he reportedly received citations for failing to stop at a stop sign in the Hamptons area.

The singer reportedly refused to take a breathalyser test during his arrest, with Justin telling an officer: "No, I'm not doing a chemical test. I refuse. I refuse."

More recently, while on tour, Justin had to postpone a scheduled show at the Prudential Centre in New Jersey originally set for October 8, due to an injury, as reported by the Independent. However, fans only had to wait a week, as the concert was quickly rescheduled for a later date.
