If you've been looking to up your at-home pamper game this year, or simply want to save some pennies on your nail appointments, Louise Thompson has revealed the two manicure products she "needs in her life". Despite being treated to these luxury items during her professional manicure, both are available for you to purchase and add a touch of glamour to your home self-care routine.
First on the list was the Jo Malone Vitamin E Body Treatment Scrub, about which Louise exclaimed: "I need one of these scrub tubs in my life. Why have I never been introduced to this sorcery before? " Her manicure was then completed with the Chanel L'huile Camélia Hydrating and Fortifying Oil, which the former Made in Chelsea star described as "yummy".

The Jo Malone scrub is the more expensive of the two items, priced at £86. However, considering its hefty 600g size and the fact that it only needs to be used twice a week, it's sure to last you a while.
Not only is it a great investment, but the Jo Malone Vitamin E Scrub is also fantastic for your skin, helping to retexturise and remove environmental pollutants as well as eliminating dry skin. It's made with non-abrasive sugar particles that gently exfoliate, leaving your skin looking youthful and radiant.
Although Louise's manicurist used it to soften and smooth her hands, the Jo Malone scrub can be used all over your body, so you can even incorporate it into your regular bodycare routine.
One Jo Malone shopper said: "A little bit goes a long way and ultra moisturizing!"
Meanwhile, another shopper echoed the sentiment and added: "I really like the idea of this product. The smell is wonderful and the scrub is just enough and melts away. What I am a little unsure of is the slightly greasy coating it leaves on my skin. That said I continue to use it and enjoy the pampering elements it brings!"
Following the luxurious exfoliation session, Louise's manicurist reached for the Chanel L'huile Camélia Hydrating and Fortifying Oil, priced at just £29, to give her nails and cuticles an extra moisture boost. Keeping your nails well-moisturised is essential to keeping them strong and avoiding breakages, and Chanel's nail treatment is brimming with nourishing camellia oil and revitalises and perfects both nails and the surrounding skin.
The Chanel nail treatment glides on with a gel-like texture before turning into an oil upon application, and you only need to use a single drop per nail. It even comes with a handily angled applicator that's ideal for tidying up cuticles or ensuring spot-on coverage, reports the Mirror.
It seems our home-based manicures are destined for an upgrade this year!
