Coleen Rooney has taken to social media to address her fans after touching down back in England from Australia. The I’m A Celebrity runner-up couldn’t be more grateful to fans as she posted a video message thanking them for their support. Although she’s now back in their £20m Cheshire mansion, Coleen is still yet to reunite with her husband Wayne as he works away managing Plymouth Argyle.
In a video posted to her millions of followers, the mum of four said: “Hi everyone, hope you're ok. I'm back in the UK. I'm a bit jet lagged. The kids are in school and I just wanted to come on and say wow wow wow, I am so overwhelmed with the love, support, generosity and positivity that you've all shown while I was in the jungle and since I've come out.”
Coleen then went on to thank fans for all their comments and messages and for those who voted for her to get all the way to the final. “I can’t thank you enough for that. I absolutely loved it,” the star gushed.
She continued: “Don't get me wrong, it was hard. It was really hard. But with your love and support and the love and support of my 11 campmates, love and support and friendship, you all got me through it and I am so grateful for that.”
“What a year to be involved in I'm A Celeb, what a camp. We are friends for life. Our group chat that we have created has not stopped, we've all been on this morning saying how jetlagged we are and me and Alan have been on the school run.
“Some of us our watching trials back and it's been a joy to be a part of and we are going to enjoy Christmas and I hope you all enjoy Christmas and then in the New Year we're going to get together and have a reunion,” she excitedly expressed.
Coleen concluded her message by wishing everyone a Merry Christmas, explaining she’d be ‘back on here soon’.
The comments of Coleen’s post were filled with love from celebrity friends and fellow campmates, including former Love Island star Maura Higgins who left a trio of red heart emojis.
It wasn’t long before Coleen got straight back to reality after touching down in England. She shared a sweet picture on her Instagram story with her three youngest sons, Klay, Kit and Cass the morning after her return to Manchester, which she captioned: “Back to the school run!!”
