ABSTRACT: In recent years, college students’ social practice activities have shown a booming development trend and have become an extremely crucial part of the “great ideological and political course”. At the same time, it also provides a practical training platform for students to combine theory with practice, enabling students to get close to people’s livelihood, understand people’s conditions, and establish lofty aspirations. However, in the process of social practice, phenomena and problems such as “special forces-style research”, being formalistic, and the homogenization of social practice content have also been exposed to a certain extent, resulting in insufficient effectiveness. Therefore, we urgently need to adopt a series of countermeasures to improve the effectiveness of college students’ social practice, make the role of social practice more practical, more significant, and more sustainable, and further lead students to find their own direction of struggle and life value in the process of “having great feelings for society and deep thinking about the times”.
