Very poor hotel overall. The rooms themselves are horrible and very basic. The paint was chipped in several places, there were gross stains on the walls and doors, stains on the bed frames, holes in the towels, tv and cables poorly placed. The shower was fine at least. Quite a noisy hotel - housekeeping were very noisy and lots of low flying planes. We had to buy earplugs. Staff were just ok. Not the warmest on the desk.

This is a simple yet friendly and accessible option in Amsterdam close to the “Vondelpark “. I had a room in the basement which was not too large and would be characterized as basic. Everything was their wifi, television, hairdryer, shower and toilet. No breakfast included (reasonably in view of the price of the room). The hotel is just outside the immediate city center but trams / buses are close

The service was polite enough, and the location was really nicely located, with tram lines right nearby, and just a ten minute walk from lots of attractions in the city. I was wondering, however, when they were going to deal with the decaying corpse-like smell in the lobby and stairwell.

This was a very bad experience. Basically the heating and the hot water available..rarely...I couldn't get my money back even if I have left 2 days before my checkout because there was no room available that had the minimum requirements: heating and hot water..it's been 2 months..and nothing happened. No refund. It's incredible. I wonder how can they survive in 2023 with cold rooms without hot water..it's the worst hotel I have ever been. Do not attempt going in there.

I stayed at Hotel 74 for 4 nights for a work trip. The location was fantastic, however the hotel was very run down and shabby. The air was unpleasant, the walls were patchy with different layers of paint over wallpaper, tiles were missing in the bathroom and there was mould in the leaking shower. The bin was not emptied from the previous guest until my final night although I had mentioned it on the first night. The walls and ceilings seemed so thin that you could hear everyone else's movements which continued through the night. One night, I came back to the hotel and could see the light was on in my room and the curtains opened which was concerning. I kept the curtains closed as it was on street level. The cleaners must have accidentally left the light on, but I thought someone was in my room. Despite this, the reception staff were very nice, helpful and welcoming.

Worst experience! Dirty, broken and nasty rooms. Terrible service. We were a group of 10 students who booked 5 rooms for a study trip. When we arrived to the hotel the rooms were dirty and unclean. Some of the windows in the room couldn’t open and there were stains on the beds and walls. We decided to cancel our reservation, but the staff were not helpful. When we were in contact with ********** the whole group were in the hotels back yard. In the meantime some of our stuff were stolen from 4 of the rooms, all of them were LOCKED!!! They stole 2 computers, 2 creditcards and an IPad. When we told the staff they didn’t care and did not wanna help us. They even got security cameras at the hotel, but the staff didn’t wanna check it. So all in all the worst experience!!!

Shame on you !!! I was in contact with the hotel to canceled my room (Funeral of my family member) Not accept by the Director himself (Even if I proposed a proof). FYI Asked for cancelation 6 days before my arrival)

Foi um dos piores hotéis que ja fiquei, televisão não funcionava, cama ruim, sem conforto nenhum o quarto, tomadas contadas nas paredes, o chuveiro molha todo banheiro na hora do banho. O que salva é o atendimento e a localização.

Barrio tranquilo. Silencioso. Alquilé la suite, lo más elevado en precio del hotel que no parece un hotel. Personal de recepción muy joven y salvo un joven que nos explicó detalles del alojamiento el resto apático. En cuanto a la suite: contaba con hidromasaje, pero el baño carecía de elementos básicos de higiene personal. Pese a los reclamos nunca funcionó la tv (5 días de alojamiento), el frigobar recién fuè reparado al segundo día, cables colgando de las paredes, luces muy tenues. Relación precio/calidad mala. No volvería ni recomiendo.

Camera spaziosa e luminosa al pian terreno con grandi finestre però in stile antiquato e toni spenti. Nota negativa la moquette. Televisore non funzionante, termosifone spento. Cassetta del bagno mal funzionante. Spero abbiano camere migliori.

Fomos roubados nesse hotel descaradamente, e pelas avaliações já vi que não fomos os primeiros, outros hóspedes já passaram por isso, roubaram a chave do nosso carro provavelmente a imaginar que o carro estava no estacionamento, mas por sorte nosso carro tinha ficado em Portugal, um Mercedes. Meu companheiro deixou a chave na mesinha de cabeceira já para não correr o risco de perder ou ser roubado, quando chegamos ao hotel a chave já la não estava, os funcionários 0 atenção a isso, o director do hotel quis sugerir de várias formas que tínhamos levado a chave e perdidos em algum lado, mas já havíamos deixado ela naquele sítio para não correr esse risco, temos a certeza absoluta, eu vi a chave e meu companheiro também no lugar aonde deixamos. E o director riu e zombou da nossa cara. Avisamos a polícia claro. O Mínimo que deviam ter feito era pago o valor que já gastamos para mandar fazer uma nova. Não aconselho esse hotel ao meu pior inimigo, se quiserem ser roubados descaradamente vão a esse sítio.

Peor hotel en Amsterdam ! 5 días con la ducha rota, 5 días sin tele por no tener baterías para el mando,aparte de que las Tele,s no funcionaban! Las luces en la cama no funcionan y en toda la habitación solo hay 2 enchufes ,uno en el baño y uno en la habitación ,penisimo para 3 estrellas ,YO no le doy ni 1 Estrella ! No tiene ni teléfono ! Evitar este hotel ! Si este hotel tiene 3 estrellas ,la Herberge tiene 15 estrellas para que os hagáis una idea ! Llamas volveré a este hotel !!!este hotel es una vergüenza para Amsterdam !!!

Tuvimos una sensación de inseguridad enorme durante la estancia. No disponen de cajas de seguridad (a pesar de que lo tienen puesto en las normas) ni de una consigna en condiciones para dejar la maleta. Nos dijeron que no entraría nadie en la habitación pero descubrimos que el servicio de limpieza nos había tirado varias prendas de ropa a la basura. Cuando fuimos a reclamarlo nos confirmaron que había sido un error pero la única compensación que nos ofrecieron fue una bebida gratis y un descuento para la próxima vez que nos alojasemos. Me parece indignante que habiendonos alojado 5 noches no se hayan dignado a ofrecernos una compensación por la ropa perdida. Sin duda un lugar a evitar.

Ho dato 2 stelle solo per la disponibilità e la gentilezza del personale per il resto : - camera fredda senza riscaldamenti -finestre e porte mal ridotte - cuscini sottili che sembrano non ci siano - mini asciugamani - stanza piccolissima con mini bagno ( andrebbe bene per 2 bambini)

Camera matrimoniale con letto a due materassi che si distaccavano camera sporchissima in 5 giorni di soggiorno mai cambiate le lenzuola , per la pulizia e la sistemazione della camera siamo stati 5 giorni fatta una volta per il cambio asciugamani dovevamo chiederlo noi . Il 3 giorno usciamo la mattina alle 9 troniamo il pomeriggio alle 17:30 circa la camera ancora non fatta vado in portineria a reclamare dicendo che era assurdo ci manda un ragazzo che ci caccia via dalla camera , rivado in portineria e gli dico adesso siamo arrivati almeno degnatevi a darci il tempo di sistemarci e ce la fate da quel giorno sono passati altri due e non ci e stata mai fatta più bagnoschiuma e shampoo usati da altra gente, frigobar in camera vuoto e al posto di fare fresco faceva caldo è uno schifo !
