Lovely atmosphere and excellent service and good facilities. In particular we would like to thank his professional and considerate service. We will definitely come back. Great location to refresh yourself after a visit to the temple of tooth.

It's a heritage property. Anyone interested to relive old world charm may book this hotel. Do not expect any luxury. Just basics. The ambience is the x factor of this hotel. Hotel is located in the temple street just beside the entrance of tooth relic temple. Opposite to the hotel is the famous kandy lake. Because of its central location, everything is available nearby - shopping, food , bank , ticket office. Even the Sri Lankan government officials building is half a kilometer away, which is why it's a fully protected area. Hotel has a beautiful cafe cum restaurant in ground floor ( Empire Cafe ) which serves all kinds of cuisines ( Indian, Chinese, Sri Lankan , English, Continental ) . Taste is good enough. Owner - John is very supportive and helpful. Not to forget his hospitable and courteous nature which brings back guests in his hotel. You won't mind booking this hotel again. But once again- this hotel is not for the luxury lovers.
