3-Star Hotels in Phuket Province, Thailand

Strategy location , just 7-8 min walk to shopping mall , bangla , Patong beach . Love the Wi-Fi speed of hotel , is fast like rocket.

To be honest I am sad that I can’t put 5*stars for this hotel, but everything being “out of order” I can’t do it. I am not very sure why the owners have decided to open this hotel before everything is finished, because it just gives a costumer a very confusing experience. When we arrived we were told that the sauna is out of order, breakfast room is not finished, there is no poolside bar..basically a lot of things what are not finished, but when we booked it didn’t say in anywhere and was advertised as something that’s already there. When you arrive in a hotel and first thing you get is a row of bad news it makes you very disappointed. They told us that they will upgrade us in a better room, but actually the room they offered us was definitely NOT an upgrade. It had a smaller bed than the room before and there was no sitting area anymore. They were saying this is a more expensive room because it is one floor higher and has a view to the pool(!?) We told them that there is not even a couch anymore how can this be an upgrade? But they didn’t really understand what is our problem so they made us feel very stupid and we asked our previous room back, because that one was way better. They told us that pool view rooms don’t have couches in them, but later we saw that they did. But for sure we can say if you are thinking of booking and don’t care about the view then a superior mountain view room is better than the superior high floor room! In high floor pool view room you just have a hard bench and a queen bed instead of the king. They promised to make it all up to us ,but in the end they just ignored this situation and we were left in this “feeling stupid” situation. The other thing that happened with us a lot and we saw it also happening with others was that the keycard just stops working or doesn’t work from the beginning so you have to go to the reception a lot. Poolside bar and breakfast are they are still building,but what I saw they are probably going to be very nice. Sauna worked only one night and even then we didn’t have any lights inside and had to stay in a dark sauna what is not a problem , but still not a good sign..as the next day sauna was not working and in the end it went only until 40 degrees. Very disappointing. But the bed was truly amazing and absolutely new - definitely recommended! The gym was very good with a very good equipment, so definitely pack your running shoes. Maybe in the future it would be nice if there would be some water available in the gym. The swimming pool was very good, but sadly they didn’t have different towels for the pool (probably also something to add in the future!) Also the mirror in the room is in a very dark spot and you should definitely add some lights there. I think as a new and just opened place you should try to provide a better service, but I see if all the “mistakes” are fixed how it is going to be a very comfy place for a relaxing stay. Noticed most of the weekend, parking lot was almost full. Didn’t try the in-house catering since family preferred to eat out. Checked in/out was switching fast. Swimming pool at 7th floor. Aircon is powerful and comfortable. Family room is large and comfortable.

The room had no window, it was stuffy and damp 5. The shower had a weak water supply (( 6. An old hotel, but it was relatively freshly painted, often. There is a refrigerator in the room, a hair dryer, the sound is like in a cardboard box. 7. We believe that for 4 thousand without breakfast with filling and atmosphere - there are more attractive hotels. It will do for a couple of days, but I would not recommend staying for a long time.

My pillows and sheets were not so clean, asked for them to be changed. Rooms with no window are stuffy, and they use a perfume which makes things worse. The ladies at the desk are quite friendly though

Good location. Friendly staff. The rooms are clean and voluminous. A large refrigerator, a large balcony. WIFI works well. The car can be parked in the basement. laundry facilities are available in the same building. A great hotel for the tourist, who account the budget!

I stayed here 7 nights to pass the Sandbox period. The hotel is perfect convenient to the center and to the buses that can take you just about anywhere. Fantastic staff very courteous and helpful. Excellent cleaning and assistance for Thai Pass certification. The restaurant is also good. Economical price

the hotel was renamed to ”Recenta Style” just a few weeks ago. for the price it's a good place. basic, but clean and easy to find. shower is just a part of the toilet with no shower curtain or glass for separation so the entire toilet gets wet, if that matters to some. the immediate area has next to nothing, except for a decent japanese sushi bar serving sushi and bento sets. for anything else at all, walk about 40 mins into charming phuket town. you don't have to get all the way into town, cos 2/3 of the way there's shops for breakfast, coffee, desserts. across the canal in front of the hotel there's a restaurant that operates till late with really loud singing, so the rooms facing the back would be a lot better. didn't use the pool cos it's on the ground floor sandwiched into a very small space in the shadows of the buildings all around so anything outside of the 1-hour window right in the middle of the day it gets absolutely no sun. the shuttle bus runs 4-5 times a day to town, you have to reserve a spot in advance, and unsure why it takes 40 mins to get to town when you can walk the same distance in 40 mins. reception staff was very strict about the 2pm check-in time, which is okay if she'd explained that they were full, but it was just a flat no.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Ratana Sakadidet Hotel. It is set on the main Sikadidet Road, in a primarily Thai neighbourhood, with very little of interest to see within walking distance of the hotel. To get around we downloaded the InDrive app and were able to secure cab rides for short journeys for around 100-120 baht, rather than pay 200 baht or more with Bolt or Grab. There are no Western restaurants or bars in the area, just small Thai eateries, street food stalls and a few karaoke bars. There is a 711 just around the corner from the hotel which was handy. There is a little fried chicken stall just outside the 711, the chicken there is delicious and only 25 baht per piece. The hotel itself is around 10 years old but has been very well maintained, in fact many areas of it appear to be quite new. We booked a superior room at 700 baht per night, very good value we thought. It was very spacious, bright, airy and spotlessly clean. The double bed offered a good night’s sleep, even though it was two singles pushed together which to us is not ideal. Power points are available both sides of the bed along with bed lamps. There was a small dining setting where we were able to enjoy our meals together that we had ordered online. There was plenty of cupboard space, a room safe, kettle and small fridge. Tea, coffee and bottled water is supplied daily. (There is also a micro wave and toaster available to use at reception). There was a small wall mounted TV with good reception and plenty of channel options, including many foreign channels. The WIFI was frustrating at times, very hit and miss. If you want to sit out on the balcony you will need to turn the AC off otherwise the heat and noise is unbearable. The bathroom is mid-sized and functional but the shower sprays water everywhere and the water is slow to drain away. There is a small open-air gym up on the rooftop with nice views of the surrounding area. The highlight of the hotel to us was the swimming pool. A mid-sized, open aired pool that was great to come back to and cool down after a hot and busy day out. There are several sun loungers available and the whole area is just very inviting and relaxing. The staff at the hotel were wonderful, always smiling and ready to offer assistance if need be. As a budget hotel we can highly recommend the Ratana Sakadidet. Footnote: We had originally booked through Agoda which has some type of arrangement with a company called OYO. On check in the Ratana Hotel would not honour our booking as apparently OYO had not passed our payment onto Agoda/Ratana so we had to contact Agoda to get a refund, which they have since paid. Our originally booking was 580 baht per night but we ended up paying the hotel directly 700 baht a night so be warned.

Stayed here for a night before heading off to krabi. The owners are a married couple and they really came.througj with helping me get to krabi, when apparently the buses arent operating, and the taxis were too expensive. They both called around to arange some way for me to get there. Really went above and beyond. Also the room was so clean, so nicely decorated, and the blanket was probably the best quality blanket I've seen for the prices I paid for this toom.
