It’s no secret that Google Glass is too expensive for most consumers, however the wearable appears to be slowly finding its place in the workforce. It’s helping law enforcement fight crime, doctors save lives and changing the way people battle hearing loss. So what’s next for Google’s $1,500 wearable computer? How about flying an aircraft?
HUD for Glass aims to help you do just that by providing pilots with an immersive heads-up display. Designed by an actual pilot, this new piece of Glassware shows information like altitude, speed, heading, pitch and roll. The app also supports feet/knots and metric units.
HUD for Glass doesn’t require an internet connection, but the software does need GPS access to display altitude and speed data. Glass wearing aviators can grab the app here.
