CyanogenMod 12 nightly builds enabled with Android 5.0.1 support

Cyanogen announced on Monday that it has enabled nightly releases of CyanogenMod 12 based on Android 5.0.1 Lollipop. The company also confirmed that its more stable “M” release of the custom ROM is 85% complete. CyanogenMod 12 supports a limited number of Android devices at this time, including the OnePlus One and Moto G.

A selection of large items are not implemented in this build of CyanogenMod, but expected to be added in the next few weeks, including the theme engine, quick settings reorganization and customization, quick settings ribbon mode, navigation bar reorgnanization and customization, sound panel customization and lock-screen quick unlock.

CyanogenMod is a popular custom version of Android that is designed to increase performance and reliability over other stock Android builds released by Google and its carrier and manufacturer partners. The custom Android ROM is also highly optimized with enhanced privacy settings, more customization options and no carrier bloatware.
