Shipping is a small community. Although work takes us all around the world, our paths cross often. Late last year we celebrated the delivery of the ADNOC Logistics & Services' vessel Al Shelila, to be led by Capt Bastone. I had the great fortune of sailing as a cadet and Second Officer under Capt Bastone, a fine seafarer and a good man. As a team, we focus on safety and crew welfare because we know what it's like onboard, and we know many of the people sailing. It's a personal business, and we know the Al Shelila is in good hands. #adnoc #energyforlife #shipping #maritime
