At Altica Partners, we believe collaboration is key to driving meaningful change. Our Managing Partner, Ebele Okeke, recently attended the Transition Investment Workshop at New York University Abu Dhabi, hosted by Transition Investment Lab. Under the theme “The Great Reallocation: Mobilizing Capital for Transition Investment,” the workshop convened leaders from sovereign wealth funds, asset management, and policy-making bodies to explore innovative strategies for directing capital into socially impactful projects—particularly in growth markets where it’s needed most. Ebele had the privilege of engaging with industry leaders from IFC - International Finance Corporation, Mubadala, ILX, Qatar Investment Authority, TPG, BlueOrchard Finance Ltd, AFC LLC, Temasek, Abu Dhabi Investment Council, ADQ, ALTÉRRA, and Emirates Investment Authority. In a session expertly moderated by Karim Harji from the University of Oxford, discussions centered on a crucial question: How can private investors balance meaningful social impact with strong financial returns? This challenge is pivotal to advancing the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals—a mission we are deeply committed to. The event was an inspiring exchange of ideas and insights, with participants reaffirming their commitment to channeling capital into sustainable, high-impact ventures. A special thanks to Bernardo Bortolotti and the Transition Investment Lab team and Peter Lejre CEO of MEASA Partners for hosting such a thought-provoking forum. At Altica Partners, we remain energized to drive forward these vital conversations and promote investment strategies that deliver both purpose and profit.
