Celebrating Excellence: Arabian Packaging Shines at the 2nd Emirates Labour Market Award!   We are thrilled to announce that Arabian Packaging has been awarded Third Prize in the Companies – Manufacturing category at the 2nd Emirates Labour Market Award, held on November 14th, 2024, in Abu Dhabi.   This significant achievement, under the esteemed patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, celebrates excellence in promoting labor rights, fostering employee well-being, and driving innovation in human resources.   The winners were honored by His Highness Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Fallen Heroes’ Affairs, and His Excellency Dr. Abdulrahman Al Awar, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation, Acting Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Chairman of the award’s Supervisory Committee, during a grand ceremony at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.   This award stands out because of the rigorous evaluation process. Applications were assessed by expert committees against key criteria, including employment and empowerment, occupational health and safety, creativity and innovation, talent acquisition, labour relations and wages, and social responsibility. Arabian Packaging proudly joined the Women’s Run 2024, the region’s largest women-only running event, held on 3rd November at Al Forsan Park, Expo City Dubai. This remarkable event brought together women from diverse backgrounds to celebrate fitness, empowerment and community. With race options for all levels—a 3km fun run, a 5km circuit and a challenging 10km route—the Women’s Run offered something for everyone. Organized by Plan b Events with the support of the Dubai Sports Council, this year’s Women’s Run emphasized the power of diversity and unity. The event brought together strategic partners, community groups and notable ambassadors to champion women’s wellness and empowerment, creating an inspiring and uplifting experience for all participants. This year, the event introduced its own anthem by Emirati classical singer Ahmed Al Hosani, energizing participants with a message of strength and resilience. The “Women of Substance” initiative honored inspiring stories from across the community, recognizing the remarkable achievements of women. In times of crisis, it’s the power of community and compassion that truly shines. Arabian Packaging is deeply humbled to have played a role in the "UAE Stands with Lebanon" campaign, which collected over 250 tons of aid for those in need in Lebanon. Led by our CEO, Marwan Diab, and guided by the support of Al Ghurair Group, our team is honored to see our corrugated boxes used to deliver vital food and supplies, as part of the Emirates Red Crescent initiative, involving 3,000 dedicated volunteers across the UAE. As part of our ongoing commitment to employee health and well-being, Arabian Packaging held an Anti-Flu Campaign on 10th October, in collaboration with MetLife Gulf and Aster DM Healthcare. With flu season approaching, the campaign aimed to raise awareness about the prevention of seasonal flu and the importance of vaccination. The campaign emphasized on the benefits of the flu shots, which is widely recognized as the most effective method of reducing the risk of illness, hospitalization and transmission to others. At Arabian Packaging, we are dedicated to creating a workplace that prioritizes the health and well-being of all employees. To support this commitment, we organized holistic yoga sessions on 1st -2nd October, led by the renowned Dr. Rajinder Shingari, a yoga maestro with over 44 years of expertise in yoga, physiotherapy and holistic healing. Dr. Shingari’s approach seamlessly blends ancient yogic practices with modern science, offering a holistic healing experience. The sessions, attended by both blue-collar and office staff, focused on key techniques such as Pranayama (breathing exercises) to improve respiratory health, boost overall energy and improve mental clarity. Mindfulness practices were also introduced to balance energy and promote inner peace, along with exercises to relieve back and cervical pain. His teachings emphasized self-awareness, lifestyle changes and mental balance, equipping participants with valuable tools to address psychosomatic issues and life-threatening conditions, ultimately improving their physical, emotional and mental well-being. As part of our ongoing wellness program, yoga will continue to play a key role in nurturing the overall well-being of our team. Arabian Packaging organized a Wellness Camp in association with the American Spine Center on 23rd July to provide a rejuvenating experience aimed at enhancing the overall health and well-being of our employees. The event featured expert physicians and hospital staff who conducted detailed health screenings.
