This past Saturday, we hosted our Annual Maple Leaf Ball, and what a memorable evening it was! We were delighted to welcome so many familiar faces and to see a great number of new attendees joining us as well. The night was filled with energy and enjoyment, featuring fantastic live music from the Lady J band and inspiring speeches from H.E. Ambassador Kris Panday, our Chairman Brent Brough, and board member Faiza Usman, CPA, CA and Peter Hastie, who kept the night lively with his engaging commentary. Over the past week, the Canadian Business Council was proud to support the Canadian Embassy in the UAE, running a B2B program for more than 85 Canadian companies who joined us from Canada for ADIPEC! As part of the week’s events, we also had the pleasure of hosting a reception on behalf of the Embassy at the Shangri-La Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi, welcoming over 250 attendees.
