The Dubai Rental Disputes Center recently made significant amendments to the mechanism for offering and depositing rental values provided to tenants in the emirate. II. The Previous System: The previous mechanism required the tenant, when submitting a request for the offer and deposit of the rental value, to attach only a copy of the checks to be deposited. The center would then notify the landlord of the offer and deposit submitted by the tenant, allowing the landlord five (5) working days to respond to this request. If the landlord did not respond, the offer and deposit would be automatically accepted, and the file would be closed due to the absence of any objection from the landlord.
