Having moved to the region in 2015, James helped establish and restructure the B2B division at The Entertainer Loyalty Company and supported the post-acquisition merger of Souq.com with Amazon in the UAE, KSA, and Egypt, focusing on Third Party Sellers, programme adoption, and communications. Originally from the UK, James has worked in Barclays' Corporate and FIG Banking divisions, where he enabled new corporate banking facilities, led a portfolio of Non-Bank Financial Institution partners, and worked in the Credit Risk team. In 2015, he moved to the UAE to set up an international retail bank and has been based in Dubai ever since. James is passionate about supporting new launches, enhancing customer experiences, and driving process improvements, with a strong focus on FinTech.
