As 2024 draws to a close, and 2025 dawns, Hans Zimmer shares the inspiration behind his unique composition for IWC Schaffhausen, “A Tribute to Eternity". Honoring the IWC Portugieser Eternal Calendar, this captivating fugue of different notes and harmonies recalls the fugue of different parts that powers the intricate Eternal Calendar mechanism. The theme is conducted by Dutch countertenor Maarten Engeltjes and performed by his baroque orchestra, PRJCT Amsterdam, in the iconic Amsterdam Concertgebouw.
