    I am pleased to share my experience attending the Kayan Wellness Festival, held on the picturesque shores of Al Fahid Island in Abu Dhabi. This distinguished event epitomizes the celebration of holistic health and the harmonious integration of mind, body, and spirit. A particular highlight was the opportunity to interview the internationally renowned wellness expert Sadhguru. His insights on yoga resonated profoundly with me, as he elucidated that yoga transcends mere physical exercise. In his own words, “If you breathe, then you are in yoga because this is the union.” His reflections on the intrinsic connection between our inner selves and the surrounding environment are both transformative and empowering. The festival convened a select group of international experts to create an environment that fosters relaxation, rejuvenation, and personal growth. This initiative stands as a testament to the organizers’ unwavering commitment to promoting mental and physical well-being and to providing visitors with an immersive experience in holistic health.     I've always had a deep love for architecture - it's the aspect of a city I'm most excited to explore when visiting a new place, and has always been the main focus of my photography. So, it's no wonder that I was thrilled to have the opportunity to interview one of the greatest architects of our time, Sir David Chipperfield, for the cover feature of the February issue of Hotelier Middle East. David Chipperfield Architects' impressive portfolio includes work on London's Royal Academy of Arts, the restoration of Berlin's Neues Museum, and many other iconic buildings around the world. In this exclusive interview, we discuss Sir David's transformation of Qatar's former Ministry of Interior building into The Ned Doha. Feeling inspired, I also designed the cover image for the magazine - wanting to capture the idea of a blueprint as well as the characteristics of the modern hotel. The overall theme reflects the importance of moving forward and innovating while also remembering and celebrating the past.
