I was therefore happy to attend the Danske Bank Winter Seminar yesterday, where I had the pleasure of meeting some of our large investors. Most often, my travels involve engaging with investors in Europe and the US. However, this week I have been in Asia together with my colleagues in the DSV Group Executive Committee visiting our local operations and meeting with some of our important customers and stakeholders in the region. And what an insightful and inspiring visit, indeed! Asia is a rapidly growing market, and it was exciting to explore how we can continue to support our customers and local teams to fuel our growth in this region.    The week was fast-paced and filled with meaningful exchanges, and I’m really grateful for the opportunity to connect with local employees and leadership to discuss future plans to unlock new opportunities. During the trip, I gained valuable insights into the unique challenges and strengths of the region.     I’m impressed by the dedication and innovation of our teams and the fantastic work they are doing to serve our customers. As we approach a busy period in Asia with high seasonal demand, it is great to see that our operations are running so well.    This visit was my first trip to Asia after the pandemic. I must say it was good to be back and I already look forward to my next visit, which I definitively promise will be sooner than last time.

Exciting news! Kuehne+Nagel acquires a majority stake in IMC Logistics, one of the leading marine #drayage providers in the US. This move strengthens and complements our intermodal sea logistics offering and is another important step forward in our #Roadmap2026 strategy. One of our biggest strengths at DSV - Global Transport and Logistics is our global reach and local presence, enabling us to support customers across the world through our comprehensive services. And with activities in more than 80 countries, I enjoy visiting our local teams around the world and witnessing firsthand the work being done across our network. This week, I wrapped up a great trip to our offices in Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen. It was my second time visiting China this year and it proved to be another busy and productive trip. China is a significant market for DSV, and over the last four days, I have met with our leadership teams, local colleagues and a range of important customers and partners from across the country. It was a real highlight for me to meet with Committee Secretary of Shanghai, Mr. Chen Jining. We discussed the impressive progress that Shanghai is making in developing its international shipping centre, and their strong focus on digital solutions and sustainability. I also confirmed our commitment to align our future development in Shanghai with the city's logistics planning and maintain close cooperation with local authorities and organisations. As always, I feel I have come away from this trip with an even greater understanding of the unique market conditions in China and how the solutions we provide can help our customers navigate the complex transport and logistics landscape. Our strategic focus and collaborative efforts are positioning us well to leverage opportunities in the region, and I’m excited about the future and the continued growth of DSV in this dynamic region.
