The only thing i would like to complaint is about their service. Please note i have been here before a couple of times. When i booked the same room as before, this time I have received a different room. I had to go all the way down to the lobby to solve this. I argued with a staff because i knew the room type as i have stayed before. The staff repeatedly said ”sorry maam, we are fully booked.” Classic reply from a receptionist. Then, a staff name Umi came and settle my issue in less than a minute. She looked backed into the records to find my last stay details. She then proceeded to give me the key card. Whats so difficult? Why are they trying to scam us by giving a smaller room? The next issue is regarding breakfast meal. Since i have booked without a breakfast, i then proceed at the counter to purchase breakfast. The staff told me to go up on level 5 to straight purchase at the restaurant. I went and i found they have increased the price and push the price for RM20 extra. I inquired and asked why is it so pricey than before. The staff told me about some quota system and he told me to go to lobby if i wanted cheaper. I was confused why would they sell a different price for in house guest for the same breakfast meal. I went down again n argued n they told me the same thing, after i showed the previous price and they agreed for me to pay the right amount. Imagine the hassle i have to go through because of their poor service. P/s: thanks to Ms Umi for dealing with the issue in less than a minute.

A Promising Stay at the New Wyndham Ion Majestic Recently had the opportunity to stay at the newly developing Wyndham Ion Majestic, and it was a delightful experience. The rooms are spacious and impeccably clean, featuring a modern bathroom with an excellent shower. The water pressure is strong, making for a refreshing and enjoyable experience. One of the highlights is the breathtaking view—you can see the entire Genting Highlands from the property, which is especially magical at sunrise or sunset. The hotel offers impressive facilities, including a well-equipped gym, a heated pool, and a children’s theme pool, perfect for families. For those seeking relaxation, the Areoma spa provides excellent massages that are worth trying. Dining options are fantastic. The breakfast spread is extensive, catering to a variety of tastes. There’s also a pizza restaurant on-site, where pizzas are freshly made to order—a must-try for food lovers. For a fun evening, the lobby features a drinking place where guests can enjoy drinks and karaoke. Additionally, a paid shuttle bus service is available to the First World Bus Terminal, making transportation convenient. Overall, Wyndham Ion Majestic shows great potential with its excellent facilities and stunning location. It’s shaping up to be a top-notch destination in Genting Highlands. Looking forward to the full functionality of the hotel with the highest Hard Rock Cafe in the region.

Strategic location. In front hotel got mall. Only walk 2 mins from hotel. Breakfast super good with much variety to choose. Can improve the registration so that no need to queue for too long. Reminder: need to validate your tngo card at receptionist every time you want to leave the hotel (if driving) to get free parking. If dont, they will charge your card.

The staff were friendly and accommodating throughout my stay. Initially, I was assigned a room with noticeable humidity issues—likely due to the air conditioning—resulting in a persistently wet floor. However, the staff promptly addressed my concerns and arranged for a room change, for which I am very grateful. The Sampan Bar, a unique feature resembling a boat on the beach near the swimming pool (Block 2), offers a relaxing spot for guests to unwind while watching their children play in the sand. Convenience is another highlight, with a 7-Eleven, Family Mart, McDonald’s, KFC, and Starbucks just a short walk away, providing plenty of food and drink options for guests. Overall, a comfortable stay with great service and added convenience.

Check-in with the front desk staff and asked if Genting Rewards points can be accumulated, staff said yes and just need to present the card upon check-out. No receipt was issued for deposit made. Upon check-out, the other staff say need to have the receipt in order to refund the deposit. We said we do not have, staff was unhappy. They also said we cannot accumulate the points on Genting Rewards card as we made the booking through Trip.com. The problem was, the staff that did our check-in also knew we booked through trip.com but still said we could accumulate the points, why tell us a different response upon check-out. They issued us with souvenir in 2 boxes, but all were empty. We returned back the boxes to them and they apologized, gave us 2 boxes to close the loop. How insincere!

Perfect room, with a perfect view and very good hospitality. There are cafes, mini department store - like restaurants inside the hotel 🏨 Minus.. The area from this hotel is located not in a resort world area. About 3,4 km distance from Sky Avenue, you need to prepare extra cost for transportation to this hotel 🏨 but the cost of the hotel itself is cheaper. So, it's a good 🤝 deal to stay here :)

Stayed only for one night. On arrival, it was an easy and quick check-in. Big and beautiful lobby area. Rooms are big and have a very comfortable bed. Bathrooms are large with seperate shower with rain shower and includes all toiletries. Good location, surrounded be restaurants and food places are in less than a minutes walk. Mall and cable car station just 10 minutes drive by car. Booked room only, so next day had to pay for breakfast and noticed it was a bit pricey. Overall. love the hotel and would definitely stay again.

Amazing breakfast options, including Indian and Chinese stations, in addition to the standard, I also ate dinner at the hotel during a rainy evening, it was delicious! Hotel is located uphill, for those who may have mobility issues, this would be challenging, however, it’s a 5 minute walk from the food stalls so not far. Walk another couple of minutes and you’re on the main high street. Lots of restaurants to choose from. Didn’t use the pool due to the rain, however looked nice enough. The room was spacious however the bed and pillows were too soft for me, found it difficult to sleep. Staff were pleasant and helpful. I think housekeeping could do with slight improvement. Overall, it was a good hotel that I would recommend.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Royale Chulan Cherating Villa, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived until the day I checked out, the staff and services at this resort exceeded my expectations! Without a doubt one of the best resorts in Malaysia and if you're ever in Cherating, THIS is the place to stay! First and foremost, the staff deserves a standing ovation. Their warm welcome and genuine hospitality made me feel like a VIP guest. Whether it was the front desk staff, the buggy drivers, the housekeeping team or even the F&B staff, everyone was attentive, friendly, and always ready to assist with a smile. They went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable, and for that, I am truly grateful. Kudos to Rizam for introducing us this hidden gem. The dining experience at the resort was exceptional as well. The Ocean restaurant offered a delectable array of dishes, catering to various tastes and preferences during my breakfast and dinner. I was particularly impressed with the chef's culinary skills and the waitstaff's impeccable service. Shoutout to Mahdi and Nizar in building a strong service team. I was told that they have very limited budget provided by the management and the improvement process is quite slow. They don't even have a gym or a large banquet hall which I understand is a requirement for a 5 star resort. The rooms, while clean and comfortable, could use a modern touch to match the high level of service provided by the staff. Additionally, the pool area, though enjoyable, would be even more appealing with updated loungers and a fresh coat of paint. These are my two cents which I hope the management would consider to do as soon as possible in order to maintain this amazing place and their regular guests. Despite these minor facilities-related issues, I wouldn't hesitate to return. The exemplary staff and top-notch service is more than enough to compensate for any facility shortcomings. It was greatt..ok lah..just the floor need to mop properly..one time i request for it to be mop again..n i saw them just spray water with the water bottle n mop it again🤣🤣i was like..its okla..hahaahah

We truly enjoyed the onsen session especially the Sakura Pool which was a piece of fine art. The uniqueness of the pool increased the pleasure of soaking in the hot water on a cold evening. The other pools were also unique, 1 with nano bubble which we were told was imported from Japan. After soaking, it made our skin smoother. We also enjoyed the other pool near the window which was with the highest temperature. With the cold breezy wind coming in from the window it made us felt so relax and comfortable. Overall, the hotel offered great service. Thanks to their dedicated guests officers. We also had a good sleep on the comfortable bed. For those who wanted a relaxing holiday and not too far away from the buzzing Genting Resorts world of entertainment, The Yanné Onsen Hotel is a great choice.

This is a new building (M3) under Ion Majestic. The rooms are clean and spacious but not yet fully furnished. However, the strong smell of renovation is noticeable throughout, and the hotel lobby toilet has an unpleasant odor. Additionally, the water flow in the room toilet is slow. Overall, it’s a decent hotel. There is a shuttle bus service to the theme park at hourly intervals, but it needs to be booked and paid for separately for each trip. I suggest reconsidering the 5-star rating, as the hotel does not yet meet that standard.

We booked 2 rooms and stayed here for a night with our family. Overall was okay, the front office staffs were very nice and friendly, the checked in process is basically flawless. The F&B staff were really friendly especially those staffs at the pool area. We enjoyed our stay but the room I stayed in has no items at the mini bar, I called the room service a few times to asked for the items but they just simply sent me a few items despite I was only asking for tea bags. Also the cups was not washed at all, coffee stained was still on the cups, i have to wash it with boiling waster and i can see the water turned brown after I poured it into the cups. Another thing is We asked for an extra bed, but no extra amenities (toothbrush and others) was provided, again I need to call the to provide it. Overall the stay was okay. I think the housekeeping department really need to pay more attention to details and not to mentioned the person who picked up my call when i asked for extra amenities and tea bags was rather unfriendly.

Warm hospitality received from the receptionist Ms Nadia upon my early arrival. She made an effort to fulfil my room preference and my stay was enjoyable. I would like to extend my appreciation to Ms Rajes, a friendly staff, for her kind initiative & guidance during my check-in/out as well. Looking forward to stay in the hotel once again.

The resort is nicely set up. Lots of trees and those who love nature wld definately love this place. The issue is the staff are mostly new and without much knowledge and not much sure they are properly trained/guided. Some whom are locals, don’t seem to be able to speak proper English. The restaurant is always infested with flies. Be careful of what u eat there. During my few days there for bfast, there were flies everywhere. Flies were dancing here and there on the food and our table. Some of their food is not covered and even their staff saw it but like just cldnt be bothered. Food taste is just ok only. Bicycles for free to use. But not maintained with many spoilt and useable. The room was ok. Spacious n clean. The villa’s pool was a bit dirty. I wonder how often they clean the pool. I understand sometimes leaves and other debris will drop in but it was dirty. Luckily upon my complaint, the staff came quickly to clean it, though wasn’t properly cleaned. The pool’s metal railing steps were moldy. The resort is big with beautiful landscapes. but sadly not properly maintained, not well kept. One can see debris and fallen leaves which were there for many days unattended. They seem to be lacked of staff to do the cleaning or at else, sweep it. It sad to see such beautiful resort to end up like tis.
