1️⃣ Lucas, what’s your personal philosophy about being a successful account executive?
Build relationships! Before any sales, there should be a foundation of trust, respect, and understanding of the partner's needs. This sets the stage for honest and effective collaboration.
2️⃣ What's the most valuable lesson you've learned from working in your role within the tech industry?
Companies heavily rely on tools to automate their work. Finding a suitable tool within budget constraints is like discovering a gem. So what I have learned is, tools are a great help for fintech companies and they are searching for them all the time.
3️⃣ What do you love the most about your job?
The possibility to talk with people from diverse regions, cultures, backgrounds, and perspectives. And in the end, help them with our amazing tool.
4️⃣ How do you maintain a healthy work-life balance while working in a demanding business manager role?
Very important question! Usually, every Monday I plan out my week (how many hours I’ll work, my to-do list, the KPIs I must reach). Then, I try to stick to the plan.
When I’m off, I try to do things I enjoy that will change my work mindset, such as gym, football, family, friends, TV shows, etc.
