From skin cancer diagnoses to weather forecasts ⛈ Artificial Intelligence is already changing science in many areas. In a survey conducted by the journal Nature last year, 1600 scientists stated what positive effects they expect AI to have on research, such as the opportunity to analyse data more quickly, to save time and money, to make new discoveries and solve complex scientific questions 💡 The new #AITHYRA Institute of the Austrian Academy of Sciences, funded by the German non-profit Boehringer Ingelheim Foundation for the next 12 years, aims to achieve revolutionary progress in biomedicine with the help of AI.
