These messages, sent from email addresses such us 𝘰𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴@𝘨-𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘭𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘪𝘤𝘦.𝘤𝘰𝘮, 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴@𝘨-𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘭𝘦𝘹𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘵.𝘤𝘰𝘮, and 𝘳𝘰𝘰𝘮𝘴@𝘨-𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘭𝘦𝘹𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘵𝘴.𝘤𝘰𝘮, ask for your travel dates and offer to book a hotel room for the conference. 𝗣𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗲: CIE is not affiliated with any travel agency and never sends such emails or requests accommodation details from conference participants. The meeting, attended by IAU officers Prof. Piero Benvenuti and Dr. Richard Green, served as an opportunity to further strengthen the connection between the two organizations. CIE and IAU have previously collaborated, particularly through CIE Division 2 and Division 4. The discussions in Vienna focused on exploring new avenues for cooperation and reinforcing the ties between the two organizations. This meeting followed a recent encounter between IAU and CIE at the Third ISC General Assembly in Muscat, Oman, where CIE Secretary General Dr. Diana Wernisch met with IAU Secretary General 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳.
